Rainfall data format incompatibility
I am trying to run a simple simulation to compare LID technologies, but I am having problems with the rainfall data. The rainfall file from INMET (brazilian meteorology institute) provided an excel list with the highest precipitation measure for each month, always measured on the last day of the month, from Jan 31, 2000 until Dec 31, 2017.
The run for that configuration generated a plot for the subcatchment runoff. What I was hoping to see was a graph where the x axis would be reporting each 31st day from 2000 to 2017 (as the rainfall excel file does), and the y axis reporting the runoff calculated for that specific date. Instead, it is showing a constant ascending line, in a graph where the x axis is the "elapsed time" up until 12 hours, and y axis shows runoff varying from 48000 to 66000 liters per second. It feels like is showing that in 12 hours, all the rainfall from those 17 years was accumulated and so generating runoff values above 48000 liters per second, which is absurd.
I believe the source of the problem has something to do with the way I am configuring the time steps for the simulation. Or maybe the file with the data should have a different disposition of information on the excel file, although I had already previously edited to fit the SWMM required format (.DAT).
Does anyone has suggestions on how to fix this problem and make the plot of each day possible?
