Can i anyone guide on how to edit .inp file input especially dates and rainfall time series from command line?

Also, is it possible to create a new model from command line.

The answer is Yes, Qasim as the inp file is just a text file and any text editor can edit the inp file. SWMM5 also has tools that allow you to use Excel (from the SWMM5 GUI) to edit the inp file - see the help.

I would suggest that before you edit the file that you look at the model data in the GUI and use Notepad or whatever to see some of the sample inp files. I would further suggest you use one of the sample inp files as a template for you to add data to your model - this helps eliminate data entry errors.
